I went to school in Wimbledon, South London, and when i left i trained as a beauty therapist and worked in a couple of salons up until i married my husband John and had my first baby in 1990.

I have always enjoyed crafting and over the following few years i played around with various different crafts, including, punch craft, cross stitch, cake decorating, making miniature teddy bears, clay modelling, jewellery making and needle felting, but my main love is card making.

I have 3 children, Jade who is 19 and at university studying dance and culture, Jake who is 12 and mad on science and console games and Louis who is 9 and has a passion for collecting rocks and who also loves crafting.

I returned to work after my second child was born and trained in childcare and education and i am curruntly managing a nursery setting within a junior school.

My other interests are ancient history, folklore, anything magical and mystical, the paranormal and saving the whale.
