Carol Adams
age 42th
Born and raised in the desert of California.  I'm a desert rat that loves the heat!
I am the youngest of 15 children so that explains why I am warped. (well that and 12 years of Catholic school)
My partner Jim and I have no children, but he has a 21 year old son.  Our kids are  6 dogs:
Duke-a black lab
Orson and Arliss- English Bulldogs
Ruby and Lulu-French Bulldogs
Shelby-a 16 year old Shepherd mix who is my best girl and the most loyal dog that I have had.
1 cat, Sybil- a snotty calico she thinks she rules the house.
2 tortoises, 1 turtle and a bunch of fish. 
Jim and I have been together about 7 years and we are thinking of getting married but only because I want better health insurance LOL.
I have been a veterinarian for 16 years (OMG, that long),  For the first 13 years I worked mostly with dairy cattle.  For the last 3 years I have been working with small animals  (mostly dogs and cats)  and loving it.  I specialize in brachycephalic (short-faced) dogs and is it any wonder since I have 4 bulldogs.  
I have been a crafter all my life.  I have tried numerous crafts but I think cutting is my favorite.  I got my first cutter, a knk element last October.  Well then I found out about the knk maxx and I HAD to have one, so Jim got me one for Christmas.  I have been learning alot about cutting and having a blast.  I spend all my money on paper and cutting files!!

My other hobbies include:
Entering photoshop contests online and I've even won a couple virtual medals!
Reading
Going to Disneyland every chance I get.
Playing with and taking care of all the beasts in my house
Playing video games on my Wii

Favorite colors: Green and Purple
Books I like: Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials Series, To Kill a Mockingbird, Jane Eyre, all the Tamora Pierce books and a ton of others....
Favorite Movie: Jaws
Favortie Bands: Oingo Boing, Barenaked Ladies, REM and Genesis
Favorite Dessert: Chunky Monkey ice cream and peanut m and m's
